Dad Grip is a rotational training tool built to slide directly onto your standard barbell sleeve, Smith Machine or weight horn. Using isolated leverage and rotational resistance, it trains your hands, wrists, and forearms like no other.

Rack your barbell, counter one side with weight, then slide Dad Grip onto the opposite side. Work it with both hands using the throttle grip, or isolate each side with the single-arm twist handle.

Built from laser cut American steel, precision bent, TIG welded, and finished by hand... daddy's hands.

Contrary to popular opinion, we actually don’t knurl it for a couple reasons.

A. It would jack up the price.

B. Knurling is a bit of a crutch on a grip tool.

Machining it is a little too expensive for less gain. Clamp engagement is a huge part of the movement. Without knurling making it easier, you’re forced to actively squeeze and maintain that grip throughout the entire exercise. That said you can always tape off a section, use chalk or gloves if your hands are super sweaty. Our Black Powder Coated Steel version is textured if you’d like a little more grip.

Dad Grip is roughly 23" long and 16" tall weighing in at about 12 lbs.

The outer diameter of the long handle (slides onto barbell) is 2.25"  and 16" long.

The small handle is roughly 5" long with an outer diameter of 1.25" and will fit a Fat Grip

The change plate sleeve as an outer diameter of 1.875 and is 6.5" long. This will fit large Olympic plates as well.
